The Ministry of Health, in its update of data on the evolution of the pandemic, has confirmed, between Saturday and Sunday, a total of 5 outbreaks produced in the Marina Alta, of which 2 have been designated to the town of Xàbia .
The first of them, notified on Saturday, affects three people and is of educational origin. The second, registered on Sunday, is social and adds 4 infections.
These two outbreaks add up to 7 new positives in the town of Xabiera, which accumulates a total of 27 outbreaks since last October when the first was detected.
As for the other new coronavirus outbreaks detected in the Marina Alta during the weekend, they correspond to the towns of Teulada, Gata de Gorgos and Calp. Teulada and Gata de Gorgos add 1 outbreak each with 5 cases in each outbreak and Calp, 1 outbreak with 7 infections.
The Marina Alta already accumulates 175 outbreaks since last August when the Ministry began to notify this data.
How can there be social outbreaks of more than 2 people even if social gatherings and in the street are forbidden at most 2 people?
