The Commissions of Infrastructures of the Delegation of Alicante approved the call that governs the distribution of helps for financially sustainable investments, that must be ratified in an extraordinary plenary session the next next 13 of July. In this distribution to the municipality of Xàbia 128.530 euros would correspond.
On the one hand, the Municipal Cooperation Fund, endowed with 13.951.567 euros, is contemplated in this call and will be accessible to the 141 municipalities of the province and the three smaller entities based on a series of criteria such as the number of inhabitants, the surface, population density and the number of districts.
On the other hand, another line of 11.200.000 euros has been allocated to compensate the municipalities that during the 2017 year allocated the provincial aid they received for financially sustainable investments to mitigate the damages caused by the storms, although this case does not occur in any of the three municipalities of the region, which could allocate the amount received for other purposes.
The typology of the actions that will be subsidized in the new call for aid, where the amount to which each population can choose is very broad, encompassing sewerage, supply, waste, lighting, environmental improvement, industry, energy , trade, tourism promotion, transport of travelers, transport infrastructure, scientific research, security and public order, civil protection, public roads, parks and gardens, creation of teaching centers, libraries and archives, cultural facilities, sports facilities, roads, roads or wealth management, among others.
The town halls may opt for a maximum of 4 performances. The works will be contracted and executed by each town hall applicant and the deadline for submitting supporting documents for spending will be November 1, 2019.
