As in a typical German Oktoberfest, on the evening of Thursday evening, the inauguration of the II Oktoberfest of Xàbia. The beer festival will have its doors open all weekend. The area of Duanes de la Mar will host until Sunday this German holiday where there will be the typical food of Germany, music and beer that will fill with good atmosphere the tent of Jaime I Avenue.
One more year, this event is organized by the Xàbia Port Association with the purpose of giving life to the fishing district and boosting the commerce of this urban center. Different musical groups will perform live during the three days of the Oktoberfest.
The inauguration included the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, the Councilor for Economic Development, Cesc Camprubi, members of the Xàbia Port Association along with other councilors of the municipal corporation and the new president of the Loreto festivities.
