The Department of Sports of Xàbia proposes one more year to the children of the municipality to spend the summer in an active and healthy way. To this end, it offers two municipal initiative campuses that complement the offer that comes from
clubs and entities. Both will take place in public facilities and have been organized by age groups.
Councilor for Sports, Alberto Tur, has detailed the two campuses. One of them is from psychomotricity for boys and girls between 5 and 7 years old (born in 2016 and 2018) and activities will be carried out to stimulate symbolic play and motor, affective and social development through imagination, creativity and expression. There are 30 places available and it will be held at the Palau d'Esports, with trips planned to the beach and other municipal facilities such as the Library.
The other, entitled 'Activa't a l'Estiu' is focused on multisport and racket modalities (paddle, badminton or table tennis). It is designed for those born between 2008 and 2015, organized into different age groups from the benjamin, juvenile and infant categories. There are 45 places and it will take place in the field of Les Mesquides and the paddle tennis courts.
Both campuses will be from July 4 to 15 (Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 13:30 p.m.), to be held in municipal facilities and have a fee of 70 euros.
Registration (pre-registration) to reserve seats can be made between May 23 and June 4 through the portal www.app.sporttia.com or the linked APP. Admitted lists will be published on June 10. When assigning places, priority will be given to family reconciliation and special circumstances with the presentation of supporting documents.
