The new data update on the evolution of the coronavirus situation by municipalities facilitated by the Ministry of Health continues to show a decrease in the number of new infections.
In the Dénia Health Department, on which the entire Marina Alta region depends, a total of 13 positive cases have been registered, the same number as in the last update, which amounts to 9.889 the total number of infections in the region since the pandemic started. Of these, 54 are still active, which reduces the accumulated incidence to 31,65 infections per 100.000 inhabitants.
The other good news about this update is that there have been no deaths in the region. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 202 people have lost their lives due to the coronavirus in the Marina Alta.
In the case of Xàbia, one more day, and there are already seven consecutive days, which the municipality does not add any contagion. In this way, the cumulative incidence drops significantly to 17,85 cases per 100.000 inhabitants. The number of positives since March 2020 in the town of Xabiera is 1.456, of which 5 are active. |
