The Ministry of Health has released the new coronavirus data by municipalities. Some positive figures since a low number of infections is shown in the region on the 15th day of Holy Week.
On this occasion, the report indicates 5 new positive cases in the Marina Alta in the last four days, which brings the total to 9.811 infections since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 32 are active. The optimal data place the accumulated incidence at 18,63 infections per 100.000 inhabitants.
The negative side of this update is given by the registration of a new death after several days without accounting. The total number of deaths reaches 200, one being the one that is added in this last day.
With regard to Xàbia, for one more day and it is already the third update, it has not added any new contagion. The number of positive cases since March 2020 is 1.442, of which only 5 are still active at the moment. The accumulated incidence in Xàbia remains at 18,11 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, well below the minimum risk set by the Government, which is 25 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
