With a price of 2.444 euros per square meter, Xàbia comes to occupy the second place in the ranking as the town with the most expensive home in the Valencian Community. This is reported by the real estate platform Fotocasa, according to the newspaper Levante.
The first place has been occupied by Alfaz del Pi, which has registered a price increase of 20,8% in the last year, with the price per square meter of 2.510 euros, according to the report.
Of the 10 most expensive towns for purchase, there are also two in the region: Calp, which ranks third with 2.323 euros per m2), ahead of Benidorm. Dénia is the ninth most expensive municipality in the Region with a price of 1.883 euros per m2.
Rental housing
Regarding the rental of housing, the study indicates that prices have grown on average 46% in five years in the Valencian Community, going from 5,77 euros per square meter to 8,42 euros. Thus, the average rent in 2016 for a home of 80 square meters was 462 euros compared to the 674 euros that must be paid now.
