Xàbia begins the removal of the Electric Transformation Center from Atenas street

August 17 from 2022 - 16: 07

The company Iberdrola will be the one to carry out the electrical part of this work, which has a total cost of 65.346,92 euros and which will involve burying the existing medium-voltage power line, removing the transformer tower and moving the infrastructure to a nearby point where it will not interfere with the flow of road traffic.

With the start of this work, a complicated administrative procedure is closed that was reactivated in 2020, when the developer of the area was required (in 1998 it built a building with 30 homes, common areas and parking on a plot located between Larissa streets, Thessaloniki and Athens) to finish the urbanization works that were pending. Among them, the removal of this transformer.

Obtaining no response, "the Consistory has opted for subsidiary execution", as explained by the Councilor for Urban Planning, Pepa Gisbert. In other words, it has used the guarantee that this company deposited in its day to finance a work that interferes with circulation and is the main obstacle to redeveloping this street parallel to Ultramar Avenue that runs through the second Montañar.

Gisbert has indicated that the electricity supply tower will be moved to a nearby space that is owned by the Town hall. Afterwards, the pavement of the space currently occupied by the aforementioned Transformation Center will be replaced.

The works, which have begun this week, will involve the diversion of traffic through alternative streets.

When they do something well and finally listen to their citizens, even if only a few times, we have to congratulate them, I hope this is the beginning of a new stage to change and do things for the people and not think about money and jobs in councils.
Although there is still a long way to go with effort and head, our politicians must put their shoulders to the wheel and work for a Xàbia Millor i mès bonica and above all listen to its citizens, all of them regardless of race or ideology or the neighborhood in which they live.
    TOTS SOM XÀBIA.

Unfortunately, that is not going to happen as long as we continue to vote for mayor for people without studies or allow anyone without adequate studies in politics to create or be part of a political party, since to be a councilor one should also have knowledge about put to practice

  2. FOR HUGO, THE FUCKING CLOWN says:

Let's see, Hugo, it seems that you don't understand:
If they don't tell you the name of the person who is going to live there, it's because these red shits are capable of filing a complaint for an attack against privacy in a public environment.
Stop whining and fucking around with your bullshit, you look a lot like someone I know...
You're not fucking funny, with your shit demanding information and giving the pain.
Go to hell, take a swim in the Arenal, cocksucker.

    • Hugo says:

Hahahaha, don't get overwhelmed soul of a pitcher, you have tried to drop a bullshit of hoax and the cardboard has been seen, that you are more donkeys than ordered to do. Come on, better luck next time pall/y/iasos.

      • clown says:

Come on Chulvi, go batter yourself in the Arenal.

        • Hugo says:

Another stick in the dark on account of those who… How much idea do they have? How much? Cooooooright, no fucking idea at all. Reward!!
That said, better luck with the next hoax, dumbasses.

  3. Carmen says:

The removal of that turret seems perfect to me.
But by the time they are going to put streetlights on Saint Tropez street, we've been without them for years, one doesn't work and others are ripped out with the cables on the ground.
Here we also go with the mobile flashlight so as not to fall.
Although complaints are made to the City Council, they ignore it.

    • Isabel says:

You'll have to wait until you have the same luck as those on Calle Atenas.
Pray for some neighbor councilor to drop.
      There is no other!

  4. Citizen who is not a Clown, with Y says:

    For HUG:

Soon you will find out "who" has bought a house in the area.

    • Hugo says:

No no, informed uncle, not soon. If you're going to blurt something out, do it now... or we'll think you're a poor little jerk who invents nonsense in search of his minute of attention.

      • Marina says:

        Hugo, you're terrible.
        What's wrong?

        • Hugo says:

Here everyone blah blah blah, but no one dares to give a name. Oh surprise because the whole thing is…a pathetic invention.
Hugs, my dear chumps looking for their minute of glory.

      • Vecino says:

The person who has moved to the area is now on vacation, so they tell you that soon, because he has not settled in yet.
It will be installed when they finish the work, it will come when the noise and all the fuss that they are going to cause ends.
It will be then that you see with your own eyes who is coming to the neighborhood.

On the other hand, I can't understand why you're so upset, why you're so shaken by the whole thing.

I don't care too much, but I think that these passionate excesses are not good for your health. The heart is more delicate than people think, even for clowns.

  5. Hugo says:

Let's see, hyperventilating of mine, don't let an «ll» separate you from what is substantial: if you accuse without proof you are a pallaso, a clown and even a clown. Do you understand now? Hey, hey, it's over...

And now you can continue to embarrass others. Kisses.

    • Lazarus Tornell says:

Hahahaha, what a loser you are, man.
Unable to accept that you are the clown.
      I break off.

    • another CLOWN says:

      "my hyperventilating" ??
      Are you really that dumb?
And you also remain cocky in your thirteen, that we have to accept that you can do whatever you want with the word clown, everything sweats you... and that guy has to obey you and say who he is.
Yours is amazing. Able to have social networks of those and hit it, for sure.
      You're super cool, aren't you?

      • Hugo says:

Hombreeee, another hyperventilating. Here is a guy who is dedicated to throwing shit but he does not say who is moving. In other words, he makes it up because it comes out of his brown crotch. He asks her and it's all to dodge and make excuses. "I'll tell you later, you'll see, it's a surprise, it's just that now I can't..." really, you're dumber and you're born pumice stone, kids.

  6. Jesus says:

The burying of the power line and the removal of the transformer, its shed and the adjacent towers seem perfect to me. When are we going to put streetlights on Atenas street? As soon as night falls there is a procession of people with mobile flashlights, it is a constant danger, due to the heavy traffic after the work on Ultramar Avenue.
There are no sidewalks, people with bicycles and on foot have to take shelter in the reeds and on top of that without light, it is a constant danger until we have an accident.

  7. very excited neighbor says:

What City Hall worker moves to the area?

It's going to be great, now we'll have the area maintained, manicured gardens, light, great!

Do you know if the police will ever pass through here?

    Thank you for choosing us!!

  8. María says:

And when will the cables be buried in such crowded areas as the Avd del Mediterráneo and the Canal Norte?

  9. Vecino says:

    mmmhh…..

Suddenly Iberdrola, after 20 years, which is said soon, it occurs to him that this history must be buried...

Well, nothing, welcome to the area the councilor, or the councilor.

    There is no other conclusion.
