Xàbia Histórica is full of atmosphere this summer with the wide cultural offer

Through the activities organized by the Association of Merchants of Historical Xàbia, together with the program of Culture of the Javea Town Hall, Xàbia Histórica becomes a perfect scenario.

On the one hand, there are commercial appointments, Shopping Night, with which the stores offer their products at a better price throughout the night. The first night of summer shopping will be Friday 27 July which will be linked to the music on the street and the best gastronomic offer in the bars and restaurants of Xàbia Histórica. The second Shopping Night It will be the August 17.

On the other hand, Xàbia Histórica will also host music festivals, exhibitions, guided tours, etc. The consolidated festival of Xàbia Jazz in August, the II Festival Àgora Percussió from 9 to 16 in July, Soundpainting y the Music Festival a l'estiu are some of the cultural activities scheduled for this summer where the tourist and cultural offer does not fail in the historic center of Xàbia.

In fact, during this week, the relevant event is marked by the cultural avant-garde with the international contemporary percussion courses, the II European Meeting of Contemporany Percussion and I New Yorker's Annual Meeting Walter Thompson on Soundpainting, the universal sign language that is used to compose live and give the necessary indications to musicians, actors, dancers and artists to interpret it simultaneously.

The two courses, which are associated with concerts that will enrich the cultural offer throughout the week, have attracted musicians from all over the country and other parts of the world. Also Valencian teachers, because both courses have scheduled training endorsed by the expressive Cevre artistic union.

Regarding the percussion encounter, every night there are free concerts in different spaces throughout the municipality. In addition, at the Conservatory live this week the percussionists with soundpainters arrived from Bilbao, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Paris, New York, Berlin, Belgium, Bulgaria or France. The concert of this discipline will be on Friday 13 of July, in the square Maruja Varó at 20 hours.
