'Xàbia is ground gold', by Juan Legaz Palomares

19 September 2020 - 00: 22

Gold is a bright yellow chemical element, the most ductile and malleable of metals, a very good conductor of heat and electricity, scarce in the earth's crust where it is native and widely dispersed, and is used in jewelry, in the manufacture of coins and as a sign of wealth. Xàbia does not differ too much from this precious metal.

With this expression of "milled gold" I intend to highlight, once again, my praise to my dear Xàbia and praise her without limits. God endowed her with: humility, simplicity, kindness, greatness and infinite natural qualities, which elevate her to the top of generosity and nobility.

From its trajectory of historical exemplarity as a supportive, tolerant, welcoming people, it was created to fall in love and was born to make the most reticent and incredulous human being dream of happiness.

Life in Xàbia transforms you into a person of integrity, educated, respectful and full of human and spiritual virtues, which lead to supreme happiness. A town that offers you light and life, and that removes pettiness from your mind.

When I observe your beauties, whether I am on land, or if I sail and furrow the wonderful beauty of your Bay, I feel a chill of deep love that penetrates me to the bones of the soul (if the soul has bones).

Those words of "milled gold" They occurred to me one day -or, rather- in a deep sleep of those in which, while you sleep raising your thought to the starry sky, you feel inside you that spiritual light reaches you that touches you as if it were a divine spring to to announce surprising and wonderful news to you. You wake up euphoric, because all pleasant dreams comfort you and produce pleasant sensations that you are never willing to forget, and even less to reject.

Nothing is more gratifying than a dream that enshrines you in the brilliance of that heavenly joy that allows you to levitate towards a starry sky with blazing and endless light. You feel as if the angels lift you up to heavenly spirituality.

What peace and tranquility to live a dream embraced by my dear Xàbia! So much so that, any splendid dream that generates an exquisite delight, gave me the great luck to have had the great luck of perceiving the exciting desire that my crazy fantasy imagination glimpsed, and I wrote:

In your Bay it grows
the life that I adore so much
with humility offers us
love like a treasure
because the heart is exalted,
in Xàbia: "ground gold".

    • Tomas J. Sanchez Chacon says:

To see ground gold, go to the first cove (the one at the end of the supposedly pedestrian walkway that starts at the Guillermo Pons roundabout)
There is no gold but rotten herbs that smell bad and ugly this beautiful cove
and do not say that this is posidonia
I insist they are ROTTEN HERBS
