The new data update on the evolution of the coronavirus in the Marina Alta reflects worrying figures. Xàbia, with 29 new infections, in the last three days, has overcome the barrier that limits the extreme risk situation.
The town has registered an incidence of 267,7 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, thus exceeding the maximum line of 250 cases per 100.000 inhabitants that marks the high risk level. At this time, Xàbia accumulates 2.504 infections since the beginning of the pandemic of which 75 are still active.
With regard to the situation in the region, the Dénia Health Department has added 141 new positive cases since the last day. In this way, the total number of infections since March 2020 is 15.438, of which 385 cases are active.
