Quaderns del Museu is the new publication that is published from the Department of Culture in order to spread the history and heritage of Xàbia studied from a scientific point of view to make them accessible to the non-specialized public.
The first number of this publication that gives continuity to the old magazine Xàbiga will be presented next Friday, March 2 in the conference room of the Soler Blasco Museum at 19:30 p.m. with the presence of the director of the magazine, the archaeologist Ximo Bolufer, the Councilor for Culture, Quico MoraguesAnd the mayor, José Chulvi.
Quaderns del Museu, of annual circulation, presents a new format in which the image is given more prominence and analyzes a monographic theme with less dense articles. This first issue will be dedicated to the romanization period.
The publication has a subsidy from the Valencian Language Academy and its contents will also be available in Spanish and English on the website of the Town hall. Of the initial print run, Cultura will put 200 on sale
copies at a price of 11 euros. The Museum is already working on the next issues of Quaderns, that will allow you to publish works of interest made in recent years and that the population can learn more about relevant epochs and heritage, such as underwater archeology.
