Xàbia unveils «Gastroxàbia» at FITUR

FITUR kicked off yesterday and Jávea came with a main course, and never better: at 16:30 p.m. they presented, within a talk about the gastronomic product of the Costa Blanca, "GastroXàbia", the idea that was born from the Municipal Tourism Council and whose trademark has been registered by town hall.

Yesterday's Day was celebrated Costa Blanca and Javea advantage to introduce the new concept, which includes a catalog showing local products and dishes that single out the local cuisine. The presentation was attended by the mayor, José ChulviThe Councilor for Tourism, Antonio Miragall and Deputy Tourism Joaquín Albaladejo.

This publication includes recipes of typical local dishes and includes a selection of the best restaurants and tapas bars in the area.

Typical dishes such as boiled beans, rice with fish, paella anchovy and spinach, polp amb Penca or fideuà and desserts such as almond cake or coca with raisins are some recipes that readers can discover through this free publication .

To reinforce this product, a group of cooks of the Association of Restorers of Xàbia on Sunday will travel to Fitur for a "show cooking" where they will prepare a cruet of peix after viewers can enjoy.
