El Javea Town Hall has held this morning a coordination meeting between the mayor's office and the Department of Citizen Security with the Local Police and the Civil Guard to organize the control and surveillance measures that will be deployed this weekend to avoid bottles or concentration of people, as well as to respond to the numerous notices for private parties in which the rules of coexistence and prevention of COVID are violated.
The Government Subdelegation has responded to the request made yesterday by the mayor, José Chulvi, and has guaranteed that the service patrols in Xàbia will be reinforced during these weeks of high occupancy. The Department of the Interior has also provided the support of the Autonomous Police.
The mayor wanted to thank the role that all the security forces are playing in these complicated weeks, in which in addition to their ordinary activity -which is already multiplying during the summer-, they have to control compliance with all the sectoral regulations in COVID prevention.
Chulvi has also appealed to citizens to be aware of the situation that is being experienced and to collaborate in whatever way is within their power both in controlling the pandemic and in good citizen coexistence.
