The rain has been seen this afternoon in Xàbia with episodes of intense precipitation in several areas of the town although luckily, the alert day has passed normally and there was no need to regret great damage. In fact, the flow of the Gorgos River has dropped considerably in recent hours.
At 19 hours, the State Meteorological Agency updated the pre-emergency warnings and the alert went from red to yellow, which stated that the storm was subsided. This alert will be active until midnight and from that moment, the region of the Marina Alta and the coast of Alicante is not warned by meteorological risks for the weekend.
As for the rain recorded on Friday in Xàbia, according to data provided by AVAMET, it is a maximum of 50 liters in the area of Cap de la Nao and just over 5 liters in Tossal Gros.
