Neighbors of the streets Italy, France and Cantallops present allegations to the Structural Plan of Xàbia

04 September 2017 - 13: 35

After 12 noon today Monday, the residents of Xàbia, José María Tur and Tony Fox representing the residents of Italia, Francia and Cantallops streets have presented, in the general registry of the Town hall, the allegations to the General Urban Planning Plan of Xàbia.

The delivery of these allegations was made after the meeting held with the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi and the councilor of Urbanism, Isabel Bolufer, to give evidence of its complaint "and so that the City Council has the claim in writing and can proceed to the modification of the Structural Plan as agreed in the meeting" said Tur.

At that meeting, the mayor assured them that the road would remain as marked the old General Plan of 1990, "Street of eight meters, instead of 16 as it had been contemplated in the new and that for reasons of traffic will be, in the future, one direction, in which all the neighbors have not put an impediment", explained José María. Tur added that "The problem was with the 16-meter street, since its construction destroyed houses and properties".

The spokesman of this neighborhood group has pointed out that "Almost all the residents of the streets Italy, France and Cantallops, about 35, have signed the allegations, only a couple of them have not done so because they are foreigners and not now residing in Xàbia."
