Neighbors of several streets in Xàbia denounce "massive fines" for bad parking

November 17 from 2022 - 19: 12

This morning the residents of Garcilaso de la Vega street, José de Espronceda and the Thiviers de Xàbia neighborhood received a great surprise. All the vehicles that were parked on these roads and on both sides of the streets, have woken up with a piece of paper on their windshield. It was a ticket for bad parking. According to what the neighbors have denounced, the sanction was issued at dawn, at 2:00 a.m.

Some neighbors have explained that they have been living at this address for more than 10 years "and no one has ever communicated or informed the residents that they cannot park, nor are there signs that prohibit parking. We do not understand this sanction now."

The fined drivers ask for an explanation and information about this fact, since according to what they say "we have gone to the local police and they have indicated that it is correct. Where do we park now? How do we know if we are parked correctly or not if there is no panel tell me?", say the neighbors.

The affected neighborhood also points out that many people park in this area to go to the dog park, "which now makes it difficult, if it is really prohibited, to access this area."

For all of you who have received the fine, get in touch with the entity that processes that (SUMA or City Hall, it will put it on the fine) there is always a deadline to present allegations, together write a document in which photos of the street appear and it is very clear that there is no sign prohibiting parking, you all sign and allege that they have done it because of the situation with the town hall and a capture of the comment that the policeman has written here, they should take away your fine and punish them by law, In the event that nothing happens (which I doubt) you go to the court and file a lawsuit, the license plate numbers of the police officers who have issued them must appear on the fines, do not pay anything

Sure, man, a screenshot of an uncontrolled forum will go a long way…
If you know about everything the same as about this, whoever listens to you is smart.

An order is requested for the owners of the newspaper to deliver the information and the email address that is mandatory to publish comments is traced, if you know about everything the same as this, the one who listens to you is ready

Instead of hesitating so much (which shows your level of education) why don't you just say what I'm wrong about or at least give other solutions? I don't know if you're twelve years old or ninety-four, keep it up king, the world needs you

Given the level of education and the lack of ability to respond, this is where my time comes, I hope it goes well for you. I recommend that you work on your values and do not do to others what you would not like them to do to you, good morning.

    MACARRAS!!!!!

    • polyjavea says:

Hahaha, fines and more fines, park well, or denounce the song
All this thanks to the head of the municipalities for the support that the police have had on his part

      • TheGreatReset/Narrative says:

And why is no fine distributed when driving in the opposite direction of the single track?

      • Sergi says:

        Hahahaha, three points:
        A) I park in a garage
        B) I earn more than any of you
        C) they are not going to raise your salary in the fucking life. Crack.

      • Anonymous says:

You should be ashamed of attacking the citizens when it is the city council and your own superiors who are bitching at you, why don't you go to the mayor's house to give him fines? Or why don't you file a complaint and go to trial? Of course, it is always better to take advantage of the position to screw over the innocent and get money from them, you are all the same scourge

  5. Victor says:

If they break your face at five o'clock in the Arenal, don't worry, they won't stick their noses out... but to put fines where it's not necessary, they are at their best for that.

  6. Genius! says:

First they behaved like Securitas Direct commercials: scaring people.
Then as thugs: issuing fines to those who cannot defend themselves.

    You're a strategist, bro.

  7. Cris says:

It is not the only area where they have fined "a go go", in the Thiviers neighborhood they have also done so. I don't know if they have done it because they have been ordered to, and thus increase the collection through fines, or of their own free will. The first option surprises me because we are in election time and we already know how politicians act on those dates. And the second, why? To put pressure on the city council at election time and get them to accept their claims? These are legitimate and rightly so but I don't think it's the best way. In addition, the city council could withdraw them in the face of an avalanche of claims. I don't think it's the best way to get fair claims to fine people at night with nocturnal behavior and cowardice.

    • Javier says:

Well, and that about jousting... what happens, that when they went to the square they didn't know the salary or what? That's like if I go to my boss and ask him for five hundred more bucks a month for my pretty face, do you know where he sends me?

      Let's work, slackers!

    • Javier says:

It is that in the end what the policeman leaves on the window is a proposal for a fine, the sanctioning body is the City Council and if they want they can let them expire, so it is in the hands of the City Council that the police strategy comes to nothing

  9. How sad says:

If it is not clearly signposted that you cannot park there, the fines are not legal. The police do this often. They arrive and they decide that they are going to fine, even cars that are privately owned or fully parked, simply because they know that once they issue a fine, it is difficult to remove it, no one complains, and in the end they steal it from your account. Report the police finally. *If* you can, it's your right, they are not outlawed, and we *yes* have rights. Against the town hall too, where do all the taxes go? Denounce them for the poor condition of your street. Why does everyone live in fear of corruption in Jávea?! ACT, NOT ACCEPT, FINALLY.

  10. long live the civil guard says:

The local police only ask for more salary and fine the citizen... enough of so much blackmail!!! let them work, let them work

  11. potemos says:

Wow, so it's true that there were police.

There are four of them and they are dedicated only to this. You will not see one where it is needed or protecting the javienses.

They pay you too much, pimps of the treason fine.

    • Manuel Andres says:

The prohibition should have been signaled and even the affected population and neighbors should have been informed.

      • Jose says:

Last summer they fined me at 04.00:4 in the morning... in front of my house. There was no place to park in 26 streets around... But they entered the street and only fined two cars out of a total of XNUMX that were worse off than ours.
        Again levy only. Bastards!!!
