Laura Donaghue and her cousin Linda Clínch signed up for the Loch Ness Marathon to celebrate their 50th birthday. Laura has been living in Javea for more than 25 years and thought of raising money for an association in the area, choosing Aspanion, to help families of children with cancer.
Both Laura and Aspanion want to thank everyone who has donated, family, friends and customers of Sofia's Restaurant. "Thanks to everyone's support I have managed to do this," says Laura. And it is that, this resident of Xàbia broke her ankle a few months before having to carry out the Marathon, and she thought that she could not do it, but she finally did it and has raised 1.680 euros for Aspanion.
Well done Laura & Linda. What a feat and huge sum raised for a curry worthy cause.
