The supervisor of the Hemodialysis Unit of the regional hospital, Alicia Rodríguez, has been recognized by the Town hall de Dénia for his service to the community, by managing to revive a citizen who suffered a sudden death on public roads, on October 13, 2018.
The tribute took place on December 20 at the Dénia Social Center, coinciding with the celebration of Police Day. The recognition was given by the Councilor for Citizen Protection and Equality and Diversity, Javier Scotto di Tella, to Alicia Rodríguez, along with Gorgui Lamine Sow, the Senegalese who rescued a Dénia neighbor from a fire last December.
