At noon today, a 19-month-old girl died, drowning, in the private pool of the house where she resided. According to reports from the CICU, at 12:45 hours the intervention of the CICU has been requested to assist an unconscious girl after falling into a pool in Jávea. The CICU has mobilized a SAMU unit, a BLS unit and a Primary Care physician.
Apparently, the girl has fallen accidentally and when the parents have noticed the incident they have transferred her quickly to a medical center where they have practiced advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers. The medical services have also performed other stabilization techniques on the girl but after weakly recovering her pulse, they have not been able to save the little girl's life.
