The rain surprises the residents of Xàbia with hail. The low temperatures that have been recorded since the early hours of this Tuesday have caused the rain to form in small balls of ice.
It was 9:20 am when the cars and the streets accumulated that hail. The thermometers marked 3 and 4 degrees in the urban center. The heavy rain left a white blanket in different corners of the town. Although snow was expected at the highest point of the Montgó, finally, the ice is what has covered vehicles and streets.
During this morning, the minimum temperatures have oscillated between -2,4º in Lluca-Coster d'En Sala and 5,8º in the Castellans area. For this day, the mercury will continue to be located in the lower part without reaching a maximum temperature of 10º.
