The Jacobsen family from Norway but residents in Xàbia, has recently made a major donation to the school district special education Raquel Payà.
The daughter of the family, Mira Holmes Jacobsen, of 13 years, gave the student center Laura Alt a check for 1.000 euros that the family wanted to bring the center to acquire the materials they deem necessary for the welfare of their students.
Both the Directive and the parents of the center were very appreciative with the collaboration of the family, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers and a gift made by students as a memento of their contribution.
On Tuesday afternoon at snack prom organized by the AMPA, Laura presented the check to the center's director, Maite Martí.
