The Library of Poble Nou de Benitatxell poses a challenge to stimulate reading for children and adolescents. Under the motto "12 challenges, 12 stories", young participants should read a book a month of the wide range of literature for children and youth from municipal funds.
Among the outstanding titles are the collections of The cap shorts e Isadora Moon. The Library has involved the CEIP Santa María Magdalena whose teachers have spread the challenge in the classrooms to attract the largest number of readers.
The operation is simple: participants can choose the book they want appropriate to their age and start it whenever they want with the condition that it is one per month. The Library prepares a surprise for all participants as well as awards and recognitions to the winners.
