Taking advantage of the storm of recent days and that the Gorgos river carrying a huge flow of water, three young Xàbia, Olivier, and John Mazo Kike Fuster took advantage to go down the river rafting. Olivier says to Xàbia.com after seeing that the situation was normalized since Tuesday, "and liking adventure and risk sports, we take advantage of the occasion"And he adds that "It was a very funny experience".
This is not the first time that cross the river Gorgos or that perform this type of adventure sports. According to Olivier explains, the river already knew technically, "In other storms I have descended by him in canoe, but it is the first time I did it with this boat".
The adventure lasted an hour 1 45 minutes. Xàbia and the young protagonist of this adventure explains that the 16 hours Tuesday December 20 enter the river from Gata and after several stoppages by the descent of the river, reach the mouth of Xàbia at 17: 45 hours. "It was a great adventure, we toured the best rapids of the river and although we ran some setbacks because the boat was deflating at the arrival of Xàbia, the experience was unforgettable."
