El Javea Town Hall has received three offers from companies willing to build the municipal swimming pool. They are Ferrovial Construcciones, Contratas Vilor and Pavasal.
After closing the deadline to apply for the tender, this Thursday the first contracting table will be held - in which the proposals will be opened to verify that the documentation of the companies is correct - within the process of awarding this important infrastructure. Then the economic offers and technical improvements will be evaluated.
The pool has an output budget of 5 million euros, of which 3 million will be financed by the Generalitat. The infrastructure will be built next to the Palau d'Esports, in the Duanes sports area and responds to a growing social demand for both its sports and therapeutic utility.
Pool Features
The enclosure will have two swimming pools and an activity room aimed at gymnastics and physical maintenance. The main pool (25 meters long by 12,50 wide) will be multipurpose and the secondary one (12,50 by 10 meters) will be dedicated to teaching complementary or familiarization activities to swimming, both for children and for adults, and especially to rehabilitation swimming. It will be approved to host provincial comxicotetions, with a three-row grandstand, changing rooms suitable for teams and a small cafeteria.
All in all, the total built area will be 3.017 square meters and the execution period for the entire work will be 742 days.
Good grief, 5 million euros to the Pool (which will surely be many more ..) and Jávea with more unemployment and more problems than ever.
