The investigation began when the agents were aware of the commission of a robbery, in tentative degree, in the town of Benissa, where the now detained, using the tricks of the caresses and the hug, tried to steal a high-end clock to a An elderly foreigner, not finally achieving his goal, so he fled the scene with his accomplice, the driver who was waiting for her in a vehicle.
Despite the scarce data that the victim could provide from the authors and the car used, the agents located these two people, barely half an hour after giving information of the facts, in the neighboring town of Calpe, where they had moved. to continue with his criminal activity.
Following this complaint has been clarified another theft, committed two days earlier, also in Calpe, which did manage to remove a Dutch citizen a high-end watch, gold and diamonds, valued at 100.000 euros, as reported the victim, who recognized, without any doubt, the detainee, as the person who approached her.
On the other hand, yesterday, Thursday, May 23, another woman, also of Romanian nationality, was arrested for 21 years, as the alleged author of a theft on May 17 in Moraira and another May 13 in the Murcia town of Cabo de Palos, also through the "hug" method.
The three detainees have numerous police records for crimes of theft and robberies by this method, being especially significant the high number of records that consist of the two women, having only 19 and 21 years of age, as well as the reiteration, almost daily, in the commission of these events, by different localities and coastal provinces of the Spanish Levant.
The two detainees of the 20 day in May have already gone to court, being released on provisional charges, awaiting trial, while the detainee of yesterday, will go to court throughout today, in the Court of the Dénia Guard.
