The company Tarannà Teatre will interpret the work in Xàbia Pedro and the captain by Mario Benedetti. It will be on Saturday, December 1, at 20:00 p.m., in the House of Culture. The ticket is priced at 5 euros and can be purchased two hours before the session. The play, performed by Antonio Lozano and Toni Pérez, under the direction of Davinia Lekeux, is recommended for people over 16 years of age.
"Pedro and the captain" It is a theatrical piece where psychology plays an important role: a face to face without taboos whose strengths are politics, values, humanity and dialogues that engage and leave no one indifferent.
In this work, Benedetti manages to open a wide range of questions about who is good and who is the bad guy on a daily basis, if it is possible to identify with the enemy on occasion, or who is the protagonist and who is the antagonist: difficult to opt for one or the other so the viewer will be very motivated to reflect and draw their own conclusions.
The work shows us how, in a scenario full of tension, two human beings so different in the end are so similar. Parliaments full of emotion and truths to get the public to get full from the beginning and want to know what will happen at the end.
