Hundreds of schoolchildren from Xàbia and Dénia are participating these days in the Culinart days, an educational project shared by the Municipalities of Xàbia and Dénia that is coordinated by the multidisciplinary group Som 3.
With the Cova del Migdia and its archaeological remains as the theme, the students have made a healthy cooking masterclass by the pastry chef José Montejano and the nutritionist Alicia Baldó that will emphasize the importance of having a healthy breakfast and snack and that will be “very practical and manipulative ”.
Also some plastic prehistoric pottery workshops, work with plant fibers and gyotaku (stamping fish).
Scholars have been visited by the mayor, José Chuvi, and mayor of Education, Empar Bolufer as well as the rulers of Dénia, Vicente Chelet and Pepa Sivera.
