Follow the fight for civility in the containers of Xàbia

February 10 from 2021 - 18: 02

There is no way. Day after day the piles of waste collapse the different container areas of Xàbia. Trash, of all kinds, fills the surroundings of the green spots. The mission of keeping Xàbia clean is made difficult by the non-activists who prefer to deposit their waste far and wide every day and in any space to make use of the free equipment collection service that is offered by the town hall.

And going further, it is no longer just the removal of mattresses or furniture; is that the incívicos prefer to deposit any of their waste in these container spaces than to take them to the eco-park. The why? Comfort? Recycling?. Undoubtedly, illogical actions that the only thing they show is a lack of civility and respect. Xàbia wants to be clean but with these attitudes, and without a union for all, the work is complicated.

The problem is THE LACK OF CONTROL in everything, masks, debris, dirt, etc., a control is not carried out and, where appropriate, an adequate sanction to avoid all this. The police need laws that allow them to sanction exemplary people who break the rules, in this country it seems that it is easier (and cheaper) to break the law than not to do it

More control is needed. Most of these garbage heaps are put there by construction company workers doing renovations. A construction company has to know where old furniture is thrown away and check that its workers follow the rules. Because of these few who do a lot of damage, many who do things correctly have to suffer. It's sad, but we need more control. If something is not done now, it will be like with Covid: one day we will be full of other people's garbage and it will be a normal thing because the first ones who have done acts of advocacy have not been punished enough. There are also private people who throw away garbage like wildlings and if you tell them something you can also be mistreated. Here at Ambolo I have met people one morning who have thrown things away incorrectly and I have spoken to them very gently to say that glass goes to glass and paper goes to paper. They have laughed and have also swore to me. If I had looked like Rambo or had been a cop they wouldn't have done it. For that reason: more control please.

They still don't put up posters that it's FREE to take it to the ECOPARC

Not a map of where he is, not his schedule.

The Town Hall is full of super-prepared people, they should raise their salary, and more allowances.

Able to sleep every night thinking that they are people, they are capable.

Both parents and teachers should bear in mind that the tree is spruced up when it grows small when it grows larger is mission impossible.

I was visiting Xabia in 2019 and I loved seeing this beautiful city so well maintained and the residents respecting the laws to maintain order and cleanliness, and everything so well organized. Therefore I am very sorry to see how neglected it looks now in these parts, all for those people who do not care how bad it looks and cannot take the time to take their garbage to the appropriate place.
Hopefully measures are taken so that this does not continue in this beautiful Community. Thank you.
