This Monday morning, six interim agents have joined the staff of the Local Police of Jávea as reinforcement until June 15. At the inauguration, held at the Town hall, have been present the mayor, José Chulvi, Councilwoman Security Pepa Gisbert, and Inspector Pepe Ribes.
According to the mayor explained, these reinforcements will provide the headquarter with a better organization of the service following the vocation of proximity that is marked as a priority and take care of the many actions that the Local Police is in charge of, from reinforcing the vigilance in the neighborhoods, in traffic or the urgent demands of security and emergencies.
It should be remembered that in Xàbia, the Police is also involved in specific projects of road education, neighborhood mediation or school, monitoring of natural and cultural heritage and social care.
We hope that this increase in staff translates into meeting the repeated request for greater vigilance in the developments, which has been demanded for years by residents and residents.
