A few days ago, the minister announced that the procedure was being finalized so that all the pharmacy offices of the Valencian Community could bring medications to people who have reduced mobility or who belong to the groups most vulnerable to the coronavirus, thus avoiding displacement of these groups and reducing the risk of contagion.
Barceló thanked the General Council of Pharmaceuticals of the Valencian Community "the great effort and the immense work that they are going to carry out". Thus, the home pharmacy service will function, as indicated by the consellera, as follows:
People who need their medications and should not leave the house to go to the pharmacy because they have symptoms of coronavirus or because they belong to risk groups (people over 60 years of age, pregnant or with pathologies such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular and lung diseases , cancer or immunodeficiencies), you can call 900 36 22 36 or send an email to medicamentsadomicili@gva.es.
In this way, the closest pharmacy will take your medicines home, avoiding trips and thus reducing the risk of contagion. They can also request them through the municipal services of their locality.
