The aim of Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell was that all the houses in the municipality that lacked a sewerage network had it, and in two years, all the houses in the Valle del Portet urbanization already have the service.
Specifically, as of today, with the signature of the rethinking of a works of expansion of the sewerage network that go up to 120.000 euros and subsidizes the Diputación will start to the last phase of sewerage of this zone.
This extension of the sewerage network will allow the discharge of the septic tanks of the isolated houses that remain to be connected with a public sewer system that carries the sewage to the Golden Valley WWTP. The new network guarantees a purification treatment of the waters, according to exigencias of the Hydrographic Confederation of the Júcar. The execution period for the completion of the works will be three months counted from the signing of the Stakeholder Check Act.
Jobs in two years
Recall that the project began in 2015 with the connection of 30 homes in a first phase and with a grant of 120.000 euros. In February of 2016 was undertaken the second part of the works with the connection of 17 more dwellings to the adjacent sewage treatment plant and with a budget of 90.000 euros. Now, this last project will connect to the remaining homes. In particular will ensure the disposal of isolated homes located in the low street of the urbanization. The municipality has also installed the connection boxes, so that each of the owners of the housing must now start the procedures to connect to the network with the responsible statement in the Town Hall of Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
