This past dawn, at 5.20 hours, the fire of a vehicle on Fray Jaime Ibañez Street set off the alarm among the residents of the Port of Xàbia, who heard a loud explosion. Quickly, local police and firefighters came to quell the fire and not affect nearby vehicles, which were quickly removed by their owners at the start of the flames.
Among the damages, the vehicle where the fire originated was quite affected and the one next to it could be removed by the agents, who broke the window to remove the handbrake and remove it from the place.
Last year, several vehicle fires occurred in the first months of the year in the marine neighborhood, but it looked like it was over. The neighbors of Duanes de la Mar have shown their impotence in the face of this event, since they assure that it has been intentional, thus damaging the owner of the vehicle.
The affected van had been acquired by the owner only two months ago to go to work. Together with the fire of the vehicle, all the work tools inside were burned and could not be saved.
