Template broad social brigades to reinforce the work on the Montgo

This week have joined the staff of the Environment and Services Xàbia the first 10 workers of social brigades who hires the Town hall thanks to the social plan for urgent employment and for the protection of the environment.

These brigades, which in total will employ 30 people in three shifts of three months, reinforcing the municipal staff that is responsible for cleaning of rivers, ravines, forest and public roads.

This first team is working in the Cap Martí area and in The flat, where today they received a visit from the mayor, José ChulviAnd the councilors of Services and Environment, Kika Mata y Doris Courcelles.

As explained by the biologist responsible for the work of forest recovery in the flat, the brigade is helping in the tasks to remove pines affected by the plague of drillers and doing manual work for the recovery of the area.

In the coming days the team Xàbia forest laborers will be reinforced with more incorporating 5 people also contracted for three months thanks to the Joint Employment Plan Public Administration Valencianas.

These operations will be responsible for cutting, cutting and delimbing the feet of pine burned or affected by the plague of scolitids, supporting the crushing or transport of plant remains, the selective pruning of the regrowth shrub layer, the extraction and removal of invasive plants , the restoration of vegetation and soils affected by the movements of machinery and dry stone margins, as well as the realization of plantations and subsequent maintenance.

The total investment in this plan is 27.892 euros, of which the City will assume 9.297 euros and the rest will be funded by the County Council and the Generalitat.
