The Department of Universal Health and Public Health has updated the incidence of coronavirus in the Valencian Community. 37 new positive cases confirmed by PCR have been detected, bringing the total number of positives to 10.537 since the pandemic began. On the other hand, 144 people have tested positive through a rapid test, for a total of 2.527 cases.
So far, a total of 7.747 registrations have been accumulated (92 since the update on Tuesday). As for hospitalizations, 15 people have been admitted and they have been reduced by 34 people since the last update. As of today, there are 572 people admitted to Valencian hospitals.
In relation to ICU admissions, the downward trend continues, with 3 fewer cases since the last update. They currently represent 2,5% of all active cases, with 102 people admitted to the ICU.
To date there have been a total of 1.302 deaths in the Valencian Community, with 13 deaths since the last update (12 previously confirmed with PCR and 1 with an epidemiological link).
The number of Health professionals who have already been discharged are 1.713 people. The total number of positives is 2.461 (1.793 through PCR and 668 with rapid tests), of which 748 remain active at this time (66 in the province of Castellón, 291 in the province of Alicante and 391 in the province of Valencia ).
Regarding the number of tests carried out for the detection of coronaviruses, a total of 179.070 have been carried out (126.789 through PCR and 52.281 through rapid tests).
Zero income in the ICUs of the Community in the last 24h
Likewise, the Intensive Care Units (ICU) of the Valencian Community have not registered any admissions for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Currently, there are 102 patients in the critical care units, a figure that has decreased by 74% in the last month, when the highest number of patients was registered in the ICU: 386.
Hospital admissions have followed the same trend. As of today, 572 people are admitted to any of the Valencian Community hospitals due to coronavirus. A month ago there were 2.189 people, so the reduction has also been 74%.
Along these lines, the number of daily admissions to hospitals has also been reduced. In the last hours, 15 people have entered, when up to 368 admissions have been produced in a single day throughout the pandemic.
