The Minister of Universal Health and Public Health, Ana Barceló, has called for extreme precautions in family and friends meetings since, since the end of the state of alarm, 36,5% of outbreaks and cases occur in this ambit. "I remind you that in family gatherings only those members of the same coexisting family nucleus are exempt from wearing masks. Therefore, we must continue to wash our hands, maintain interpersonal distance and always wear the mask. We must do it for ourselves and for those we love the most ", has indicated the consellera.
According to age groups, the highest number of outbreaks is between 15 and 34 years (49,2%). Outbreaks related to family and friends gatherings are followed by outbreaks associated with leisure spaces (17,6%), those related to the workplace (15%) and nursing homes (12%).
The Valencian Community has registered 523 new cases per PCR test since the last update, which places the total number of positives at 13.852 people.
By province, the number of new cases is as follows: 39 in Castellón, 121 in the province of Alicante, 359 in the province of Valencia, to which must be added 25 unassigned cases.
On the other hand, 236 discharges have been given to patients with coronavirus, so the total number of cured persons now amounts to 18.609 people: 2.625 in Castellón; 6.169 in Alicante; and 9.813 in Valencia, in addition to 2 unassigned cases.
Thus, there are currently 1.663 cases active, representing 7,6% of the total positives.
Valencian hospitals currently have 117 people admitted and there has been 1 death from coronavirus since the last update, bringing the total number of deaths to 1.480 people.
The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus amounts to 601.445, of which 468.034 have been through PCR and 133.411 through rapid tests.

Two of the immigrants who arrived at the Alicante coast over the weekend have tested positive for coronavirus and remain isolated at the Alicante General Hospital. The rest have given negative and are in the field hospital.
