27 September 2017 - 14: 56

The Local Police of Xàbia and volunteers of Civil Protection rescued, during the night of yesterday Tuesday, a dog that was wounded in the channel of the River Gorgos. Apparently, the can was precipitated from the bridge of Augusta Avenue causing a fracture in one of the front legs.

The warning was given by a citizen who heard from the street the howls of the dog. At the scene of the event, the local police and civil protection agents went to the veterinarian who collaborated with Protector APASA and observed that the animal was badly injured.

Among those present immobilized the can to be able to evacuate in a special stretcher to the premises of APASA, where he remains recovering from the fracture. From the police point out that the dog, although wearing an anti-parasitic collar and apparently was careful, does not have a chip and therefore has not been able to locate its owner at the moment.
