They rescue a climber from Cap de Sant Martí

The mountain rescue group of the Firefighters Consortium and the helicopter have come to the rescue of a man in the area of ​​Cap de Sant Martí de Xàbia. The man is 200 meters from the top of the north face, immobilized by exhaustion, as reported by the Fire Department.

The notice to 112 is given by a group of divers, around 18:00 p.m., when they realize that the climber, loaded with a large backpack, has not made any movement for about an hour.

From the Local Police of Xàbia they activate the rescue protocol and the boat leaves until this point of the event. Confirming that the man has problems continuing the climb due to exhaustion, it is when the rescue group arrives with the helicopter towards the area. The man was rescued at 20:16 p.m.
