The Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, and the Second Vice President of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda, Pablo Iglesias, have explained through a telematic press conference that minors under the age of 14 may take controlled walks, accompanied at all times by an adult. for one hour a day, between nine in the morning and nine at night, at a distance of one kilometer from his home and without access to swing areas and sports facilities.
What will be allowed, as announced by the Government, will be that children bring their own toys (scooters, balls, bicycles ...), but without having to share them with others, in the case of staying in the common areas of the urbanizations, if the community of neighbors has authorized the stay in them and they will be able to jump, run or do physical exercise.
The Minister of Health has indicated that he will approve an Order so that from next Sunday April 26th this measure of relief from confinement is possible, "They will be controlled exits, in which the basic measures to avoid COVID19 infections must continue, such as maintaining a safety distance of 2 meters, frequent hand washing and hygiene in private / public spaces". Likewise, Illa has indicated that this lack of confidence will provide "Multiple beneficial effects for minors, both physically and emotionally, especially for those who live in more vulnerable homes"Illa has stressed.
The mask will not be mandatory but its use is recommended and the adult can carry up to a maximum of three children with it. The ministers have also indicated that departures are avoided at peak times.
