The municipal water company of Xàbia, AMJASA, donates to the volunteer group of Civil Protection a motor pump to improve the equipment and the operation before a fire. With this action, AMJASA shows its support for the voluntary work carried out by Civil Protection.
The donated material, a portable generator and a transportable and easy-to-use motor pump that transfers water at high speed, will allow volunteers to obtain water simultaneously with the fire work, while the firefighters arrive and thus have enough flow to maintain the pressure necessary and for longer.
On the other hand, the new electric generator is also more manageable than the ones available up to now and will allow them, among other utilities, to charge the communications stations in the command posts that are installed outdoors in case of any emergency.
The mayor and president of AMJASA, José Chulvi, the mayor of Aguas, Paco Torres, and the Councilor for Citizen Security, Civil Protection and Emergencies, Pepa Gisbert they have delivered this material to the volunteers of the emergency group.
