10 years ago since the Portal de la Marina Shopping Center it was installed in our region as a commercial reference. Now, on the occasion of its anniversary, Portal de la Marina completely changes its image by improving access and services. And, once a year, this commercial complex receives more than 4 million visitors.
The renovation of the facilities, as indicated by the director of the shopping center, Carlos Fita, will amount to 3,2 million euros and the works, exterior and interior, will be extended during the next six months. The BroadwayMalyan architecture studio, known for the design of the Miami Cruise Terminal, among others, has been in charge of the project.

One of the changes will be the pedestrian access main to the shopping center, increasing its relevance and visibility. Also, in the main entrance from the center will be installed a portal of 20 meters high, making it more visible and comfortable for visitors.

To redistribute the internal traffic in the complex, the interior access, from the first floor to the second, will be relocated to the central area, giving more space to the terraces and installing three large LED screens, offering a more modern and fun image.
