National Police arrested in Xàbia a Dutch fugitive who trafficked with 113 kilos of amphetamines

The National Police arrested 27 last August in Xàbia, a Dutch fugitive, 49 years old, who fled to Spain to avoid serving the sentence of five years in prison for the crimes of drug trafficking, economic and financial crimes and crimes against the public trust for fraud, fraud and forgery.

The device was initiated when the Dutch authorities issued a Search Order at European level for their arrest, getting the National Police in Alicante to locate and arrest him. The investigators of the Judicial Police Brigade of Alicante were aware that the fugitive could be hiding in the town of Xàbia so they focused the investigations in their vicinity, managing to stop it and make it available
of the Central Court acting as the National Court Guard in order to carry out the extradition process.

The arrested person was allegedly part of a criminal organization that was engaged in the cultivation, transportation and sale of amphetamine. The Dutch authorities link him to trafficking in an amphetamine batch of 113 kilos.
