The poblero poet Vicente Devesa, presented his second collection of poems Love in a sigh

The poblero poet Vicente Devesa presented last Friday, his second book of poems, Love in a sigh at the Library of Poble Nou de Benitatxell. More than fifty neighbors clothed the author in the presentation of his second collection of poems that is personal and intimate nature.

The event was composed of a videopoems as audiovisual resource and public participation. Also, students Workshop Memory and Professor Adrián Llobell recited a poem taking as collaborative leitmotiv the memory.

Concha García, one of his students, read the poetic text written by the group. Motivated and hopeful the students were to occupy public space and to raise awareness of the work done.

Following the success of poemario Somewhere in the seaVicente Devesa, professional photographer, essayist and poet, permeates in his new work, the difficulties he has overcome in life. At the age of 23, he took refuge in his first verse after suffering a spectacular accident that kept him bedridden for more than three years.

Now shares with readers the spirit of strength that helped him be firm with the less friendly side of life. Hence his relationship with poetry has been both relief and energy source.

"I break my own shackles on the attempt that each poem is a mirror of myself. I always wanted to convey the poetry 100% of what I have in mind, whether pain, fear or pleasure, and get my poems connect emotionally with others. My poetry has always been a life partner, a shelter and relief to one linked to pain and disease life, but also the strength and hope " the poet pointed out.
