The Dénia Hospital, through its cuidArt art project, has carried out an action plan aimed at reinforcing the humanization of the Psychiatry hospitalization plant.
The project, which has been possible thanks to the challenge launched by the Portal de la Marina Shopping Center “Solidarity kilometers”, has been developed in two phases. During the first, the corridor walls were painted with chalkboard effect paint of different colors, with the aim that patients can develop their creativity there.
In the second phase, a mural intervention has been carried out on the central corridor and the common rest room. The project, “Painting as a window open to the world”, by the artists Alicia López (Sucri) and Antonio Santoyo (Furyo), reflects on the concepts of interior / exterior, nature / architectural space and the relationships between the viewer and the work of art.
