For a few days, the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has announced the significant rise that thermometers will suffer this week. The arrival of a heat wave has put all the municipalities of the Valencian Community on alert.
However, from the Ministry of Health and Public Health they have informed today of the populations that will be at risk of this heat stroke from this Wednesday until Sunday. The alert activated today affects 22 municipalities in the Community and this could be extended to more localities on Thursday, but no municipality in the Marina Alta region is on the list.
In this way, Xàbia could be saved from reaching extreme temperatures during this heat wave episode.
