The Ministry of Health has updated the data on the evolution of the coronavirus in the Valencian Community. In the last 24 hours, there has been an increase in new positive cases, thus detecting 305 infections, bringing the total number of positives to 12.514 since the pandemic began. Of these, 135 are in the province of Alicante. Currently, 3.961 cases are active, that is, one out of every 3 diagnosed cases.
Likewise, ICU coronavirus admissions have been halved in the last two weeks, from 238 on April 18 to the current 120. In the case of hospital admissions, the reduction has been 42% , since that day there were 1.095 people and currently 638 are registered.
On the other hand, there have been a total of 7.287 discharges (209 since the update this Friday) and as for deaths, to date, there have been a total of 1.266 (13 new since yesterday) in the Valencian Community.
The number of Health professionals who have already been discharged are 1.474 people. The total number of positives is 2.226, of which 752 remain active at this time.
