A negative fact is revealed in the update of the situation of the coronavirus in the last hours in the Marina Alta region. As reported by the Ministry of Health, there has been a new death due to COVID-19, thus bringing the number to 17 people.
An increase that had not occurred for more than 10 days, since day after day, the data on deaths remained unchanged.
Likewise, the positive fact today is that no new infections have been registered, which is why the number of 197 people who have tested positive since the pandemic began is maintained, thus placing Marina Alta in the fourth region of the entire Valencian Community with the lowest number of infections and deaths per 100.000 inhabitants.
It would seem appropriate to provide data on the deceased, in terms of age, sex, ethnicity, profession, if he had previous pathologies and municipality in which he resided. They are data that do not affect the privacy or sensitivity of anyone and make it easier to get an idea of the risk to which we are each exposed.
