The Música a l'Estiu festival arrives at the Historic Center of Xàbia on the next 25, 27, 28 and 30 July with concerts starting at 22:30 p.m., in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
Música a l'Estiu is a forum for intensive musical improvement focused on wind instruments. It is based at the facilities of the Xàbia Professional Conservatory and combines a training part, in which students can work on pieces of their choice with great European soloists, with the concerts that animate the evenings in the Historic Center.
The director of the course is Thomas Indermühle (oboe and artistic director of the course), José Luis Estellés (clarinet), Will Sanders (horn) and Pierre Martens (bassoon). The flute and piccolo teacher of the Higher Music Center of the Basque Country (MUSIKENE) and soloist of the National Orchestra of Spain Álvaro Octavio Díaz (flute) joins.
As usual, the concert players will be supported by pianists Amedeo Salvato and Agnese Eglina, while the academic director will be Pilar Fontalba.
