The Minister of Universal Health and Public Health, Ana Barceló, has updated the incidence of coronavirus in the Valencian Community, and has highlighted that the number of discharges continues to exceed that of new cases. So far, a total of 8.010 registrations have been accumulated (263 since the update this Wednesday).
Regarding ICU admissions, this Wednesday was the first day with zero admissions in the critical care units, but this Thursday, and due to the increase in discharges, there are less than 100 patients requiring this care: 98 people .
As for hospitalizations, the downward trend continues and stands at 558 people. In addition, 247 new positive cases have been detected: 55 through PCR and 192 through rapid tests, bringing the total number of positives to 13.311 since the pandemic began.
To date there have been a total of 1.315 deaths in the Valencian Community and since the last update there have been 13 people who have lost their lives due to COVID-19.
