The Iaioflautas of the Marina Alta have called a rally for next Monday 4 February, at 12 hours, in the Plaza de la Iglesia de Xàbia.
With this mobilization they claim that although they have achieved movement in the Government on this issue, everything remains the same. "Apart from the small advances achieved last year and this one around the Consumer Price Index, there is little to tell", they say in the statement.
From the State Coordination for the Defense of the Public Pension System have announced that they do not comply with the Decree for the revaluation of pensions promoted by the Government of Pedro Sanchez, which does not approve the revaluation of pensions according to the Price Index Consumption (CPI), but postpones the decision to 6 months, to open the possibility of introducing other indices such as the annual oscillation of the average salary, social contributions and economic growth, factors that, if they are down, "Would seriously damage the purchasing power of pensions."
In the statement they insist that they will not sit still, "We will not leave the street until they offer us solutions. The first of which must be that the Minimum Pension rises in the same proportion as the Minimum Interprofessional Salary. If you really want to move in the right direction, we have to reach 1.084 € minimum vital set by the European Social Charter. We will not leave the street until we are admitted as social partners and can negotiate a reform of the Public Pension System for the future. "
